I didn't mind the "caveman thing" at all because we got to see Bruce interacting with Anthro (Showcase, 1968) and Vandal Savage!

The Blackest Night main title was very enjoyable (lovely artwork by Ivan Reis) as was Blackest Night: Batman and Blackest Night: Wonder Woman even though I'm slightly biased because I handle art sales for the artists on both books (Nicola Scott on BN: WW and Ardian Syaf on BN: Batman) :) Best,

Royd

No way, Deodato Jr hits my spot every time.

I tried reading Return of Bruce Wayne but the whole caveman thing didnt do it for me.

I might get the blackest night collections when they are released and try those out.

The art in HackSlash for the last trade paper back was really really unimpressive. apart from that it is a good read.

I read a Madame Xanadu TBP,

I really liked it.

Atm, totally am loving the new Darkwing Duck series! Sure, it's Disney and it's not as serious as most comics, but a Batman parody in the shape of a duck... who could refuse? I admit, I am looking forward to the Ducktales release!

Most of my faves though, are older- obviously the Indiana Jones stuff (I've got every Indy comic almost- just missing some issues from the Young Indy run in the early 1990s and the Indiana Jones Adventures Volume 2 digest); Tomb Raider (just some select story arcs that I like- for example, the Medusa's Mask and Pieces of Zero) and Adventures of Tin-Tin (which I'm still collecting up, it's just an expensive proposition!).

I'm a big fan of Green Lantern stuff (including Green Lantern Corps and other related series), been reading them in trades from the Rebirth/Recharge and have read up to Blackest Night (which I read all of also). Been hanging back on Brightest Day and beyond until a decent nuber of them are available in trade (not just hardcover).

I'm also a fan of Joe Michael Linsner's Dawn. I have a bit of limited and signed stuff and used to order directly from his site until he closed down the store after Zeke's passing (he basically managed the packing, sending etc and the orders, great man) and other changes. I think it might be coming back soon though. I also have prints and lithos but nowhere to put them up since I rent lol.
