I like Kitty Pryde (Sprite, Shadowcat) the best. She's my favourite X-Man and one of the best POV characters in comics.
My second favourite is Jamie Madrox (Multiple Man) from X-Factor.

And I hate Gambit too.

I've always thought Wolverine & Gambit are really cool.
& I've always dug Cannonball since I read this old Uncanny Issue where he dukes it out with the Shiaar Empires Imperial Guard/Bodyguard.

Rogue's always been my favourite (though I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of the emo teenager thing that they've revived her as in recent years, both the films and newer animated series, plus they decide to skip her other powers: the power of flight and her Supa-strength, which she had gained from Miss Marvel in the comics, but surely you could find other ways of adding those powers to her).

Jean Grey's an interesting character, especially when the Phoenix side gets awakened. Other than that, she doesn't really interest me.

Storm's pretty cool (I'm little surprised no one's mentioned her yet).

Yeah, another vote for the Ragin' Cajun from me too!

Colossus is cool, so strong but has a gentle heart.

I have to admit though, I don't like Bobby (Ice Man) especially in the films and I don't really like Kitty that much either. Emma Frost is well, cold.

Ms. Marvel
and they did a whole storyline where Rogue lost Ms. Marvel's powers and then gained other powers, and then lost them and got Ms. Marvel's powers back and then lost them again.
Pretty sure now she only has her original powers but can now control them and is able to recall any powers that she has gained from touching people, for a short amount of time whenever she wants.

My fav mutants would have to be Scarlet Witch, Dagger, Rogue and Mystique.
I really like the idea of Storm too but really don't like Black Panther or the storylines she gets stuck with.
